How can I choose the right PV inverter solution for my needs? Should I select a hybrid inverter or an off-grid inverter?
    • If you want to sell excess solar power to the grid: Choose a hybrid inverter that supports on-grid operation and meets your country’s certification requirements. Hybrid inverters can also work off-grid during power outages, giving you both export capability and backup power.

    • If you want complete energy independence or live in an area with frequent power outages: Choose an off-grid inverter. It uses batteries as the main power source and can run entirely independent of the utility grid. Teemway Solar off-grid inverters include utility power backup (city power supplement) — automatically switching to grid power when solar and battery supply are insufficient, ensuring uninterrupted power.

When selecting an off-grid solar inverter, consider the following factors:

  1. Application & Load Type

    • For basic home appliances like LED lights, TVs, and fans, a modified sine wave inverter may be sufficient.

    • For inductive loads with motors (e.g., refrigerators, pumps, air conditioners), choose a pure sine wave inverter to ensure smooth operation and avoid equipment damage.

  2. Load Power Requirements

    • Calculate the total wattage of your appliances.

    • Select an inverter with a rated output power greater than your total load to ensure stable performance.

  3. Features & System Design

    • Decide if you need an inverter with a built-in MPPT or PWM solar charge controller.

    • Check if parallel connection is required for system expansion.

    • Determine how many solar panels you will connect and ensure the inverter’s PV input range is compatible.

    • Consider optional features such as Wi-Fi remote monitoring for real-time performance tracking.

  4. Budget & Quality

    • Balance cost with durability, efficiency, and warranty coverage.

    • Teemway Solar offers multiple models to fit different budgets while maintaining high reliability.

What is a C&I solar system?

A Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar system is a photovoltaic (PV) power generation solution designed for businesses, factories, warehouses, shopping malls, data centers, and other large-scale electricity users. It can be on-grid, off-grid, or hybrid (with energy storage).

  • Reduce electricity costs through self-consumption.

  • Peak shaving to lower demand charges.

  • Backup power during grid outages to ensure business continuity.

  • Reduce carbon footprint and meet ESG goals.

  • Sell excess power to the grid (where policies allow).

  • System size depends on:

    • Average daily energy consumption (kWh/day)

    • Peak load demand (kW)

    • Available rooftop/ground space

    • Budget and ROI targets
Teemway’s engineering team can conduct an energy audit to recommend the optimal PV + ESS configuration.

Based on the Teemway Solar 580W monocrystalline high-efficiency PV panels (dimensions 2279×1134 mm, approximately 2.58 m² per panel), the effective usable area after considering mounting racks and spacing is about 75% of the total area.

  • If you have 3,000 m² of installation area, the actual usable area for panels is approximately 2,250 m², requiring about 872 panels of 580W each, resulting in an installed capacity of around 506 kWp.

  • Assuming 4 hours of effective sunlight per day, the system can generate approximately 2,024 kWh of electricity daily.

If you need a 1 MWp system, you would require roughly 1,725 panels of 580W, occupying about 5,934 m² of land (including racks and spacing).

The daily power generation is calculated by multiplying the total installed capacity (kW) by the effective sunlight hours per day. These figures may be adjusted based on actual site conditions.

They offer flexible installation without wiring, energy savings, continuous monitoring, and lower operational costs.

Depends on battery storage; typically 1-3 days of backup during overcast conditions.

The integrated system combines solar-powered LED lighting with surveillance cameras, both powered by solar panels and backed by rechargeable batteries. During the day, solar panels charge the batteries, which then supply energy to the lights and CCTV at night or during low-light conditions. This setup enables off-grid, energy-efficient outdoor lighting and security monitoring without external power sources or complex wiring.

Although the system is integrated, the lighting and surveillance functions operate independently: the solar light features an automatic light sensor that turns the light off and charges the batteries during the day, then automatically turns the light on at night. Meanwhile, the CCTV system runs continuously, using motion detection to monitor and record any movement around the area at all times. Both components are powered by solar energy stored in batteries, enabling efficient, off-grid operation without external power.
